The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nikki’s And Jack’s Boozy Kiss, Diane And Victor’s Angry Confrontation?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) and possibly Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) both might walk in on something that will make them very angry!

Coming Up On The Young and The Restless

With Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) walking a boozy tightrope and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) continually holding her hand, that connection Diane’s worried about might happen!

Back In The Day…

Back in the day, there was a time that Jack and Nikki were married during one of Victor and Nikki’s “breaks” and they’ve remained close over the years.

That’s why Victor was initially uncomfortable with Jack taking over her AA sponsor duties when Seth Morgan (Brian Gaskill) fell off the wagon and later was murdered.

Diane has been uncomfortable too, although she knows Jack has a good heart and wants to help-he’s assured both Diane and Victor his heart belongs to Diane.

Nikki and Diane have a horrible history with each other, as Diane does with Victor. That is why when Diane first came to town no one trusted her and Nikki along with some others tried to drive her away.

Nothing To Be Insecure About?

Jack told Diane there’s nothing to be insecure about, he and Nikki were over years ago-kind of the same thing he reassured Victor, and Nikki did too.

But this could be like saying nothing will go wrong at a wedding, “soap speak” for something disastrous happening like a bomb in the church.

What if his reassurances are really clues that there will be something to feel insecure about, possibly for both Diane and Victor; Jack’s got a lot on his plate right now.

Could the stress of keeping Nikki sober and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) sane and protected from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) put him over the edge?

What if Diane and Victor walked in on a drunken Nikki and possibly Jack too, making out with boozy kisses?

Oops-Gotcha!!!

Jack may confess to Diane if something like that happened and Nikki might be embarrassed and confess to Victor. One thing for certain, she’d have to find a different sponsor, someone she could trust as much as she does Jack.

If Jack got drunk along with Nikki-not likely to happen, but if he gets a taste of vodka from her lips it could set him off-it would be bad!

But, especially with all of Diane’s insecurities, and all of Jack’s reassurances, it just seems like an anvil’s ready to drop and it will be proven she was right to worry!

Could both of them fall off the wagon together and everything go south-Diane and Victor can hope not, but you never know!
