Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) has bad news for Maggie Kiriakis-(Suzanne Rogers) she just doesn’t know how bad it really is yet!
He’ll tell her that his visa has expired, and he has to go back to Greece-but is it really a marriage plot to become “Mr. Maggie”?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Julie Williams And Maggie Kiriakis’ Talk
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Maggie had just had a talk about marriage and Maggie brought up how she thought she’d never love again after losing Mickey Horton (John Ingle).
But then she and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) fell in love and Victor was chapter two for Maggie. Konstantin had just left the room after Julie had barged in on them making herself quite obvious.
Konstantin had other things to do and people to see, for one, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) to ensure she was still marrying the fake heir Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).
Konstantin is obviously worried about his inheritance scheme going sideways, because the money comes from both Alex and Maggie-Theresa hasn’t thought far enough ahead to think what might happen to Alex!
DOOL Spoilers: Konstantin Meleounis Has Won A Lot Of Maggie Kiriakis’ Heart
Konstantin knows he’s already won a lot of Maggie’s heart, she acts like she is quite fond of him-and when he tells her his visa has expired she’s upset.
He leaves it to her to solve the problem if he’s to stay in Salem, and she’s moved by his plight-she gets to work on fixing the situation.
And then he starts making suggestions on how he can stay in the country and Salem permanently, making sure she knows he doesn’t want to leave.
He tells her that Salem is very, very special to him and insinuates that it’s her that’s very, very special to him, and continues to ingratiate himself to her.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Marriage On His Mind?
Konstantin is acting like he might have marriage on his mind, and surely Maggie notices-from his standpoint the one way to become an American citizen quickly might be to marry one.
Maggie has had many people protecting her or trying to from Konstantin, believing he’s a con, but she’s making excuses and not seeing through his games.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) was one of the first to try to run him out of town, but Maggie’s protective of Konstantin now so she won’t listen!
Konstantin is still working on Maggie about a permanent solution to his oft-expiring visa when Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) walks in and teases Konstantin a bit.
Konstantin knows Xander doesn’t trust him and knows you can’t con a con–Xander may not be a con man now but he has before!
