The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers: Ashleigh Brewer Returns as Fiesty Ivy Forrester

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ashleigh Brewer is coming back to the LA-based soap to reprise her role of Ivy Forrester.

Ivy is Eric Forrester’s niece and the character debuted in 2014. Her father is Eric’s brother John Forrester. Forrester Creations hired Ivy as a jewelry designer after cutting ties with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer, Lois Cerullo, General Hospital).

Ivy was full of fun and enthusiasm and she got along great with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). One of the highlights back then was the storyline that unfolded in Paris during a FC fashion photoshoot.

As often happens on the show, many FC employees were involved in the storyline. Hope Logan (then Kim Matula, now Annika Noelle) was doing a photoshoot at the Eiffel Tower and a gem called the Hope for the Future diamond figured into the plot.

Wyatt hoped that the bauble would secure his future with Hope, even though she was still crushing on Liam.

Quinn wanted to help Wyatt so she pushed Ivy off a bridge and into the river. She did so knowing that Liam would dive in and rescue Ivy, thus missing his appointment with Hope where he planned to declare his love for her. When he didn’t arrive, Hope did the only logical thing and married Wyatt.

Later, Liam and Ivy hooked up, and with the brunette returning to the show, it seems logical that she and Liam might reminisce about old times.

Fans will no doubt wonder how Ivy will fit in with other storylines now that she is set for a comeback. Liam and Hope are over, and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has let him know she’s not interested in sloppy seconds.

This leaves Liam very eligible and let’s face it, he can’t seem to go too long without a romantic involvement. Then again, Ivy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) were a thing at one time, and he is smarting from Hope’s rejection.
