General Hospital Spoilers: Dr. Terry Randolph Returns To Port Charles, Cassandra James Offers An Update

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Dr. Terry Randolf in the land of Port Charles. The character’s portrayer, Cassandra James, recently offered an update on when fans can expect to see General Hospital’s co-chief of staff again.

GH Spoilers: Cassandra James Has Returned To The Set

James provided fans with some insight via the Threads social media platform. Cassandra posted on March 6, noting she’s back on set and filming, adding that it’s her first day back since October 2023, which is almost six months.

Still, James reveals that she’s choosing gratitude as she knows all too well that some actors have waited longer.

With that being said, she also points out the nature of her line of work, and how jobs can come and go. In the Threads post, James states, “Just imagine if the job you trained to do, that you’re good at and you love was consistently demonstrated to be ephemeral. That having a second job was not only normalized but systemically suggested. When you come home and stream our work on your TV, artists are wondering why we rarely feel valued enough to make our job a living.”

GH Spoilers: Dr. Terry Randolf’s History On The Show

James debuted on the show in 2018; however, has only made sporadic appearances on the daytime drama since Dr. Terry Randolf rode onto the Port Charles scene.

The character plays a prominent figure within the hospital, running the place alongside other co-chief of staff, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Terry’s also in a relationship with (Cyrus Hobbi) and happens to be the bestie of fan favorite, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

GH films several weeks in advance, so fans should expect to see Terry return to the canvas sometime in April or possibly May.
