Jeremy grew up with his parents, Matt and Amy Roloff, and his brothers, Jacob and Zach Roloff, and sister, Molly Roloff. His mother was a stay-at-home mom and she was always there for her kids.

She was always able to take care of their every need. In his new post on Instagram, he opened up about running marathons and his childhood. When he shared this information, plenty of his fans were concerned about why he was making his life seem terrible.

He wrote, “I remember being told to get out of the house. I would simply BE bored and watch the cloud pass through the tree branches. I feel like being born in 1990, I was on the last chopper out of Nam concerning a childhood free from this new era of existence.” After sharing this post, his followers were very curious as to why he would compare his life to Vietnam.

Fans React

Of course, Redditors were all over this post when Jeremy shared it. His followers mentioned the lavish life he led as a child. He was on television and his family was not struggling with money.

Another fan pointed out that they lived on a very large farm, had a pirate ship, and a pumpkin patch. They also brought up the fact that he was the average-sized brother, so these fans were unsure of why he was talking about such a terrible upbringing.

Some fans came to his aid and talked about how he was making a comparison to being raised during a time when kids went outside to play and didn’t have all of the technology that they do now. Jeremy was trying to make a point, but it turns out that it may have fallen short.
