Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas Takes A Gamble, Asks Chad And Everett For An Interview
Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) will take a gamble, feeling trapped-he asks Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) for an interview.
Lucas knows he can’t get out of prison early including house arrest- unless he gives something substantial that will bring an end to the drug dealing in Salem.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas Horton Wants To Start A Journalistic Investigation
Lucas is hoping by giving Chad and Everett some leads based on things and people he suspects, they’ll start a journalistic investigation, much like Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) used to do.
He realizes it could get dangerous-like it did for him-and ultimately, like it did for Abigail-Clyde Weston’s (James Read) in prison for her murder.
Everett already had his suspicions that the Bistro was being used as a front for running drugs, but Lucas wants the big boss taken down-and he knows Chad will.
Clyde’s already in prison but Lucas knows he’s behind the drugs being run in Salem-he just wasn’t able to prove it and got beaten up. He feels his beating after talking to Clyde is proof he’s behind it all.
DOOL Spoilers: Tricky Interrogation Skills
Lucas knows Chad and Everett will need to employ some tricky interrogation skills that will get anyone they talk to telling things they don’t realize they’re telling.
Knowing the fine art of implication and recognizing when it’s used will get them everywhere. There’s a way things can be implied and worded that will get someone to tell the truth without coming out and saying it, and that’s what they need to do.
Ideally, one should question while the other one surreptitiously records the conversation, but they have to be careful they’re not caught or suspected. That’s what got Lucas in trouble even talking to people he thought he could trust-Clyde has his spies everywhere in Statesville.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Have To Be Sneaky
Chad and Everett already know they have to be sneaky and use their investigative interrogation skills at their best-they have to be able to make themselves seem trustworthy.
Even if they are able to find some of the underling drug dealers and the police take them down with their leads, that is some real progress. Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) already suspects Clyde Weston is behind the drug flow in Salem and running things from the inside.
The possiblity of a dirty cop or prison guard is also kept in mind when Chad and Everett start doing their digging. Hopefully, they can bust this ring wide open before any more people are hurt-especially teens.
