GH spoilers suggest that Carly made it clear that the only reason she accepted Drew’s job offer was for revenge lust. After Drew fired Nina, they had a post-confrontation chat, where it was noted that Carly accepted the job temporarily, with the idea that someone else would fill the position at some point. After all, Carly has zero media experience and really wants to focus on creating her legacy through Bobbie’s Diner.

Still, Drew somehow convinced her to stay on for the long haul. He reasoned that she’s got tons of experience running a business, and Crimson is a well-oiled machine as it is. How hard could it be? Famous last words …

Not many couples can work together daily. Mix in the fact that Carly’s heart isn’t in Crimson, plus Drew’s recent behavior issues, and this all sounds like a recipe for disaster.

With Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) imminent return, plus the fact that Darly never truly “worked” as a couple, it’s not hard to see that this romance is ripping at the seams.

When the work from Crimson becomes too much for Carly, and the magazine slowly starts to tank, Ms. Spencer will resent the position Drew has put her in.

There’s nothing Carly hates more than failing, and it will sting that much more as she took the job from Nina. Ms. Reeves will be quick to gloat, and Drew’s lack of empathy will cause major friction between Darly; it may even be the end of the super couple as fans know it.
