General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Fumes At Her Bestie, But Ned Won’t Be So Mad — Where Is This Going?

General Hospital: Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)

General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is going to have a major bone to pick with Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), but that’s going to be the least of her concerns when she finds out who else was involved in keeping Nina’s bad deed a secret.

What Nina has done isn’t really all that surprising to Carly. It’s Nina, after all. But learning that people who are supposed to love her and be in her corner were complicit in keeping her secret — even if they didn’t support her in it — will crush her.

In particular, when she learns that Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) played a key role in making Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) take the fall for something he didn’t do, she won’t care about her good intentions in preserving peace in the family.

General Hospital Spoilers — Olivia Will Reap What She’s Sown

Olivia and Carly had a rough go of things last year. Their friendship was put to the test when it appeared that Ned was guilty of turning Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in to the SEC for insider trading.

Olivia stood by her man, and Carly disagreed — feeling rejected by her best friend. While the pair have since made up when Ned was injured and suffering from an identity crisis as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), their friendship isn’t quite as solid as it used to be — and now this could spell their final fallout. Make no mistake, Carly is going to let Olivia have a piece of her mind.

GH Spoilers Hint Ned Is Relieved

Meanwhile, Ned will do nothing but gloat as the truth comes out and his name is cleared. He will no longer be the bad guy Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew thought he was.

He will, however, still retain the rights to Michael’s proxy at ELQ. What he may do with it could jeopardize his cleared name, though. Ned won’t shed a tear, but he might not be Olivia’s favorite person.

It was her idea to keep the truth under wraps, even though it benefitted Nina to do so. Ned never agreed with her plan, but he agreed to follow it anyway.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael’s Days Are Numbered

It may become rather clear to Carly as she’s berating Olivia for betraying her trust that she’s far from the person she’s truly angry with. Olivia had good intentions.

She just wanted the family to be happy — for once. Can Carly really fault her for that? Besides, it’s not just Carly and Drew who are impacted; Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and her children are, too.

Carly may be able to come to terms with Olivia’s side of the story, but that doesn’t mean she will consider Michael’s intentions to be as pure. Sure, he didn’t want Nina near his wife and children, but going behind Willow’s back to blackmail Nina into compliance while protecting the person who tried to put his mother in jail probably wasn’t the most kosher way to do it.

Will Carly realize her anger toward her son has been misplaced in Olivia’s direction? Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
