Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Chancellors Versus The Winters? Hiring Billy & Chance Leads To In-Company Fighting
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that due to their respective circumstances, it looks like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could start working at the family business, thanks to a ton of encouragement from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
While Jill has always worked well with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) possibly entering the mix, along with Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) holding a large portion of the shares at Chancellor-Winters, could Chance and Billy create some family feuding within the company?
Y&R Spoilers: Right Now, There Are More “Winters” Than “Chancellors”
Y&R spoilers for the week of December 4th hint that Billy will air his frustrations about Jabot to Jill, which will prompt her to offer him a job at Chancellor-Winters. He’ll likely reject it at that point, but this doesn’t mean he’ll close the door on the idea, entirely.
As it stands now, more Winters family members are running the company than Chancellors, although technically, Devon is a Chancellor as he was Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) grandson.
Still, fans can’t help but wonder if all these job offers to family members is part of a grander scheme from Jill to “even out” the odds. She trusts both Lily and Devon, but Mamie is becoming a thorn in her side.
Y&R Spoilers: Mamie Johnson Wants To Edge Jill Abbott Out
Recruiting Billy and Chance to work for Chancellor-Winters could be a strategic or subconscious move on Jill’s part. She knows Mami is gunning for her, and Jill’s also been around the block enough to know that you can’t always trust the people you work with.
Lily and Devon are ethical, but Mamie is their family. She may want to even out the odds by bringing her own family into the organization. Either way, hiring Billy and Chance may heighten Mamie’s resentment toward Jill, and create a “family versus family” feud within Chancellor-Winters.
