Not only did fans see Chase Harrison (Josh Swickard) propose to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but actor Charles Mesure debuted on the show as a mystery patron at Kelly’s … who is seemingly the man Roman Humes a.k.a. “Mr. Humes” (Mark Engelhardt) reports to.
But, is Mr. Brennan, the man who was also sort of flirting with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), actually Pikeman, or just another middleman?

GH spoilers hint that in the weeks ahead, fans will learn more about Brennan. It’s hard to say if the handsome and charming man at Kelly’s was simply someone whom Humes reports to, or Pikeman, himself.
One reason he could be Pikeman is the slight chemistry between him and Carly, and how the two interacted. If Kelly’s patron was Pikeman, and there’s a spark between him and Ms. Spencer, this would add an interesting layer to things considering his criminal ties to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Plus, fans have been speculating as to whether Pikeman was an old familiar character, so the idea of a completely fresh and new character offers a world of possibilities. He may have ties or history with other characters, likely Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), so his interactions with other Port Charles residents will offer questions for viewers and keep this story interesting.

The moment the “mystery man” entered Kelly’s and started a dialogue with Carly, most fans knew he was likely connected to Humes, as Sonny and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) awaited Pikeman’s messenger boy at the same time. It seems “too easy” and “uncomplicated” to have Mr. Brennan as Pikeman.
After all, when Humes approached Brennan at Kelly’s with the message that Sonny had declined the offer, it didn’t feel like the massive “Pikeman” reveal most fans were anticipating.
Besides, in the weeks ahead, audiences will wonder if Brennan is the big guy or just another guy who is simply further up the ladder and has access to Pikeman. If this person is supposed to be all big and powerful, why would he simply head into a diner for lunch with zero security?
