The promo for the week of December 25, 2023, reveals they will have a magical Christmas this year. However, some fans are uncertain about the return of Lucas.
Some of the DOOL fans took to an older thread on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards to react. One user wrote: “Lucas, Will, Allie, and her son should have been there too. Oh, wait, we wait to see Lucas out of prison ’till Sami’s back in town.”
Another user commented: “Lucas is in jail for kidnapping their mother and holding her prisoner for months. They rushed the story so much and all of them disappeared soon after…so we really have no clue if they’ve forgiven their father or not. I’m a huge fan of Lucas but he messed up big. His annoying kids would be within their rights to be mad at him.”
According to the Days of Our Lives spoilers, Lucas is still a criminal. He should be paying the price for his mistakes.

Fans are finally getting details about Gabi’s return. Most DOOL fans feel that Camila Banus’ exit from the show was a long time coming. Her last scene had them wondering how her character would exit. Gabi was sent to prison for a crime she didn’t commit.
The Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Banus isn’t interested in returning to the role. This means that Gabi could get a recast. The spoilers also suggest that Gabi will return soon. The question is still out on whether she’ll return for the holidays or the new year.
Most DOOL fans forgot that Banus was a recast when she played Gabi for 14 years. While the show hasn’t announced whether Gabi has been recast, she stopped filming in April.
This leaves plenty of time for someone else to take over the role. There are more whispers that Gabi will make her triumphant return to Salem.
