Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal there are three must-see moments for the week of January 1, 2014. Fans can expect Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to take the fall for Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann). Sloan Petersen Brady (Jessica Serfaty) must deal with Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) excessive spending. Plus, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) interrogates Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) as Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) fate hangs in the balance.
Tate Black’s Arrest
DOOL spoilers for the week of January 1 reveal that one must-see moment features Tate. After Holly’s overdose, Tate is found cradling his New Year’s Eve date. There are drugs on the ground, which Tate must pick up. Tate likely is trying to prevent Holly from getting arrested… if she ever wakes up, that is.
Brady corners Tate after Holly is taken away in an ambulance. Brady roughly shakes his son and asks what happened. In the weekly preview clip, Tate remains speechless, but does try to hand his father a baggie of pills. Brady puts his hands up and refuses to touch the evidence, which is good since a cop approaches, seeing it all go down.

Tate is arrested and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) rejects Tate’s story that the drugs belonged to Holly. EJ insists that Holly doesn’t do drugs and vows to make Tate pay. As Tate cowers, Brady can sense his son’s terror. Brady jumps in and claims that the drugs are his, but Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) doesn’t buy it and won’t accept the confession.
Sloan Petersen Brady’s Big Problem
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 1 reveal that another must-see moment centers on Sloan and Leo. As Leo keeps spending and spending and spending, Sloan’s credit cards are being declined. Soon, Sloan’s bank account might end up in the negative. That could lead to Sloan using Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) credit cards and even applying for loans. Sloan might be able to explain some of the charges, but not all of them.
However, Sloan can only do that for so long. Eric isn’t exactly a millionaire. Sloan is close to reaching her breaking point, which is exactly what Leo is counting on. It would be perfect timing as Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) is facing a double grief scenario. Nicole needs to know that her gut was right all along… Sloan’s “adopted” son is actually her dead baby.

Fans can also expect Harris to grill Stefan and Ava after Holly’s overdose. However, Stefan and Ava will probably continue to deny knowing anything about the drug trade in Salem. However, Ava will feel incredibly guilty, especially after Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) questions her. Plus, Clyde Weston (James Read) has new orders for Stefan and Ava. Meanwhile, EJ angrily confronts Stefan.
