The reality stars, Brandon and Mary, have expanded their family with the welcoming of a baby girl. Here’s the happy details.
In last week’s episode of “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Around,” we saw Brandon and Mary happily tie the knot in front of family and friends. If you’ve followed the couple during their time on “90’s Day Fiancé,” you’ll see that their romance has survived through several highs and lows.
On Tuesday, Aug. 15, the couple welcomed their first child, telling Entertainment Tonight that it was a “happy” moment for the family.
“When I heard our baby crying for the first time during my C-section, I got teary-eyed and was so happy to realize I have a baby,” Mary told the outlet. “Our daughter, Midnight, is worth everything and I’ve never been this happy in my whole life.”
The couple previously announced that they were expecting in a September episode of the show. When they started dating, they promised to stay celibate out of respect for Mary’s grandparents. However, they soon broke tradition by trying for a baby. Three months after Brandon moved to the Philippines to start his life with Mary, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child.
“I’m happy because I’m having a baby fever. So that’s why I’m being crazy and I really want a baby, right,” Mary explained. “I know we were trying, but it’s different when you’re trying compared to like, when it actually happens and you’re like, ‘OK, hold on.’ Like, I thought it would take longer.”
She then revealed the reason she decided to break her virginity before marriage, despite it being against her family’s belief. “Brandon is here now in person, and I really love him and I feel ready to give my all to him,” she said. “You know, we’re humans.”
As for Brandon, immediately they decided to start trying for a child, he prepared himself for fatherhood and welcomed it with all his heart.
