General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) allegedly has a big confession on the horizon — but it’s not what some might have expected. Sure, she’s been a fugitive from justice in the past.

Now, she’s pretty much considered a fugitive from her own memory. She can’t recall whether she was guilty of the charges against her or not. So the state suspended the charges until a time they hope they can bring a stronger case against her.

Will she spontaneously confess to framing Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and being the real culprit behind that revenge porn involving Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton)? Hardly!

Instead, rumor has it she’s going to confess to her feelings…for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Has a Crush

Esme and Spencer have grown closer in recent months. They had to put their own feelings aside to do what was best for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), and now it appears they’ve both grown accustomed to being a family with him.

Spencer is worried that the security Esme has being Ace’s mother could someday trump his involvement as nothing more than Ace’s big brother.

Fans are likely to suspect Esme’s revelation that she is into Spencer could be her preying on his feelings of insecurity and attachment.

Does Esme think if she makes a play for Spencer, he’ll feel inclined to return her feelings even if only to stay in Ace’s life? It’s not impossible.

GH Spoilers Hint Spencer’s Feelings are a Wreck

In reality, Spencer probably does have some lingering feelings for Esme — and even some new ones. He would never admit that to Trina, and he’s certainly not ready to admit them to himself.

So we can expect that he won’t be admitting them to Esme anytime soon either. But if she has him right where she wants him and he starts to think the only way he can stay in Ace’s everyday life is to stay in Esme’s, he just might have to oblige.

It’s interesting that Esme would even be accepting of such, given that their relationship last time was also a charade, but on her end. Will she settle for Spencer even if his heart still secretly lies with Trina? Does it?

General Hospital Spoilers — What About Trina?

It’s possible that Spencer could feel flattered and unsure what to do about Esme’s confession that she’s attracted to him and cares about him. He can’t pretend he hasn’t noticed her in the same respect at times.

But he loves Trina. However, the question might not be whether he loves her, but whether he loves Ace more. If Esme starts to claim it’s unbearable to live with him when she can’t be with him, will Spencer start to panic that she’ll move out and take Ace with her?
