When she finds out Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has decided to spend Thanksgiving with her instead of Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) she wants Tate to help break them up!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Blue Thanksgiving

It’s a blue Thanksgiving for Holly, who’s depressed over her mother’s depression-Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) is in a state of postpartum depression and grief.

Holly and Johnny are both affected by the “death” of baby boy DiMera (uncast) believed to be EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) son. Johnny realizes that Holly would be home alone for Thanksgiving, with everyone else elsewhere or at the hospital.

Johnny decides to cancel his Thanksgiving plans with Chanel to stay home and have dinner with Holly. Holly hides it well, but she’s over the moon excited that her new stepbrother/hot crush is choosing to be with her instead of Chanel, who she considers her rival!

DOOL Spoilers: Holly Jonas Sees What She Wants To See

Holly sees what she wants to see, not realizing that Johnny is having Thanksgiving with her out of wanting to comfort her-he’s being empathetic but thinks of her as his sister.

He’s not into her or even attracted to her, his affections and attentions are all for Chanel-but Holly seizes the opportunity to be alone with him and get closer. They do have a good time together-Johnny has put pieces of what would be a Thanksgiving meal and makes sandwiches, calling them “Thanksgiving on a bun.”

But it turns out it’s a very messy sandwich, and there’s a lot of laughing and wiping off of components of the sandwiches from their faces.

They do, however, bond over the sloppy sandwiches made of ham, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, and then Tate shows up and interrupts, upsetting Holly at first since Johnny decides to leave.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Stolen Opportunity For A Stolen Kiss

Holly had been working her way towards a stolen kiss with Johnny until Tate showed up and Johnny decided to go to Chanel since Tate is there.

She hides her emotion until Johnny has left, not letting on that she’s upset he’s leaving-if he viewed her as desperate that would ruin everything.

She decides Tate needs to repay her for interrupting the moment when she thought she could have kissed Johnny, and guilt-trips him into thinking he owes her.

Tate balks at the idea, but she tells him she’ll forgive him for acting like an idiot only if he helps her break up Johnny and Chanel. Holly wants what she can’t have, which is why she’s trying to pursue Johnny, and thinks she can manipulate Tate because he’s shown interest in her.
