Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric Has A Heart-To-Heart Talk With Marlena About Nicole’s Baby Obsession

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will have a heart-to-heart talk with his mother Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). He’ll want to talk to her about Nicole DiMera’s (Arianne Zucker) baby obsession and her having believed his and Sloan Petersen Brady’s (Jessica Serfaty) adopted baby was hers!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric Brady Is Worried

Eric is worried about Nicole, she is obviously not only suffering severe postpartum depression, but she’s in deep denial about her baby who died; she has no closure.

She held her baby for a few brief moments before Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) left, intending to take him to Salem University Hospital. There, she and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) had learned from Dr. Pierce (Steve Mize) their baby died and was accidentally cremated, when she’d insisted on seeing him!

Eric tells his mother everything that happened in Horton Town Square and how he and EJ both tried to convince Nicole that the babies weren’t the same one. Nicole seemed to accept it when Eric took baby Jude Brady (uncredited infant) home but as delusional as she seemed when she was holding him, he has his doubts.

DOOL Spoilers: Marlena Evans Is Worried Also

Marlena is worried about Nicole also, from what Eric is describing to her she’s in deep psychological trouble-but she can’t do anything professionally unless Nicole reaches out. She can offer her services but not mention what Eric told her-although it would be better to simply reach out as a friend and a friend of the family.

But Marlena also knows that Nicole was just released from the hospital and is probably still in shock and denial in the initial stages of grief. After so many years of wanting a successful pregnancy with no miscarriage and now for her baby to be born and die is heartbreaking.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena Evans Can Look Into The Morgue Mishap

However, as a doctor working within Salem University Hospital, she can look into the morgue mishap and find out some information-however, she doesn’t tell Eric this.

Marlena is simply struck with the blatant impropriety of something like this happening in her hospital and will share what she knows of it with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). It’s not the first time that Salem University Hospital has had unscrupulous and worse personnel in their employ who’ve slipped through the cracks of HR.

One way or another Nicole will get some help, whether it be psychological or legal. This is something that needs to be investigated as to how it could have happened!
