General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will catch up now that Laura’s back from Europe.
Laura is gradually making the rounds around Port Charles to catch up with family and friends, and of course, she’ll tell Alexis that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is alive.
General Hospital Spoilers: Keeping An Eye On Esme Prince
One thing Laura worked out with Alexis prior to herself and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) making their trip to Europe is to keep an eye on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
With Esme, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) left to their own devices, someone needed to monitor.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) also was asked to keep an eye on Spencer and Ace, and Alexis hired Esme, with Ace being in “The Invader” onsite nursery while Esme works.
But now that Nikolas is known to be alive, Laura is gradually telling all who need to know-she already told Spencer first thing, with Esme hearing also.
Although Nikolas hasn’t tried to make contact with anyone in Port Charles that they know of, including Laura, it is something to be aware of so Laura tells Alexis.
GH Spoilers: Alexis Davis And Nikolas Cassadine Were Always Close
At least as he was growing up, Alexis and Nikolas were always close-she came to Port Charles around the same time he did as a teenager.
Alexis has also been mystified by Nikolas’ behavior over the last few years, but like Laura, is sure it was influenced by spending time with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
When Nikolas surfaced the last time, it was found he had been sheltered by Victor-who was also playing dead-and he worked for him for several years.
But considering their family history, and also so she can be on the lookout in case Nikolas does show up at the Invader, Laura tells Alexis what she and Kevin learned.
General Hospital Spoilers: Might Nikolas Cassadine Try To Swipe The Baby?
Nikolas kept Esme captive in the north tower of Wyndemere the majority of her pregnancy, and tried to get her to sign custody to him before she left Spring Ridge.
Considering that, and that Nikolas disappeared after he and Spencer had a very ugly argument over who would raise Ace, the possibility of kidnapping is a concern.
Yet, with him being alive this whole time and proof from Nikolas’ Swiss banker that he made withdrawals in person, perhaps he may not try to kidnap the baby.
However, it is an important enough concern that extra security will be put in place, both at the Invader and the daycare, and also at Kevin and Laura’s condo.
Wyndemere will get extra security on the inside of the castle as well, considering what happened to Ava Jerome (Maura West) recently!
