Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) gets some advice from Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) who wants him to put a ring on it already.
Steve tells Chad that his beautiful and talented daughter Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is waiting to become his wife!
Chad is a widower with two kids and is perfectly capable of making up his mind and taking care of his business. But Steve is well-meaning and well-intentioned.
Chad has a hard time ignoring Steve’s sincerity and he truly loves Stephanie. They reside together and his kids love Stephanie.
But does Chad really need to be goaded into marriage? How many women want to wonder if their dad pressured their SO to make it official?
However, Steve’s plea may end up being a moot point. That’s because someone from Stephanie’s past arrives in Salem and his presence could be a game changer.
Her past relationship broke her heart, and she revealed that when she returned to Salem she was trying to get over her boyfriend who acted like Casper and simply ghosted her.
Some men know how to behave, and some don’t—Stephanie could do a lot worse than Chad, but has she really gotten over her ex? It’s hard to lose someone you love, but being ghosted leaves an unresolved situation, one that can be hard to move on from when there is no closure.
In what is terrific news for DOOL fans, Blake Berris (formerly Nick Fallon) returns to the soap as Everett. The show’s explosive fall preview video indicates that Everett is Stephanie’s ex-boyfriend and it will be interesting to see how she reacts to him coming to Salem, especially now that she has a good thing with Chad.
Show spoilers tease that Everett does not tell Stephanie of his arrival and she is gobsmacked when she runs into him this week.
