Adam’s claim of wanting to prove himself to his family feels different because his approach includes claimed humility. There have been moments when Adam is congratulating himself, implying that this is another game.

Whether the above is a complex gambit or not, Adam is back in. Victor’s first assignment is to keep his eyes on Nate.
