Y&R spoilers imply that Christine isn’t giving in an inch where this latest case is concerned. Not that Phyllis shouldn’t suffer any repercussions for what she did; however, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) faked her death years ago and didn’t have to go to prison. Meanwhile, Red going to jail for Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) murder seems a bit over the top, too. Everyone knew he was a dangerous man, a past criminal at that; so how hard is it to believe that Red killed him in self-defense, with or without EMT Carson’s (Walter Belenky) testimony?
Christine is on a witch hunt. Has Phyllis gotten away with many crimes over the years? Yes, but so have others in the land of GC. She should certainly pay for her current shenanigans but nailing her to the wall over what she did recently seems like a bit much.
The Young And The Restless Updates – The Summer Newman Factor
Christine warned Phyllis that if she didn’t come forward and plead guilty, she’d “go after” Summer Newman-Abbott (Alison Lanier) for “aiding and abetting” her mom’s “crimes”; however, if she does as she’s told, the D.A. would steer clear of Summer. Was this really cutting a deal or more of a threat? If Phyllis gets off for faking her death and killing Stark, could she go after Christine and her behavior during this case? Could Ms. Blair be at risk of losing her job, after a possible investigation?
