General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at a major character comeback. During the July 28th edition of the show, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) took Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) to visit Lulu Spencer, at GH. While her mom was at a facility for her long-term coma, she’s been moved back to Port Charles.

Fans have been speculating on a return, since. But what will happen to the Sante relationship, if and when Lulu awakens?

General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer Has Been Off Canvas For Years

It was November 2020 when the Floating Rib explosion caused chaos in the land of Port Charles. Lulu and Dante were on the cups of a reunion, and it seemed like the two were finally going to be together. Sadly, Ms. Spencer suffered some severe injuries and was sent to a facility due to the long-term coma she was in.

When Dante and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) got together, she was always skeptical about Falconeri’s commitment, in the beginning. After all, he and Lulu not only shared children but a very special romantic bond. Still, Dante made it crystal clear that even if Ms. Spencer awakened, their relationship was long over. Was he talking in the air, or did he really mean it? Dante never mentioned to Sam that he and Lulu were very close to getting back together before her coma.

General Hospital Updates – Lulu Returns, Ready To Make Up For Lost Time

It’s interesting that Lulu has been moved to General Hospital; a tell-tale sign that Ms. Spencer may awaken from her slumber sooner rather than later. Simply having the scene with Dante and Charlotte visiting Lulu is a huge red flag to viewers. When Ms. Spencer awakens and fully recovers, she’ll be ready to dive into her old life again. This includes parenting and spending time with her kids, but she’ll also be very interested in rekindling things with Dante. They missed out on so much when he was off with the WSB in Turkey, and now years of her being “asleep”. She won’t want to waste any more time. But, how will Dante feel?
