Thomas was shocked to hear that. He assumed that something extraordinary happened between them. Not only did they kiss, but they also held hands as they walked through the city. Hope told him that she wants to get back home to her family.

Things are only going to get worse for Hope since she has yet to confront her desires head-on. They also haven’t discussed what happened in Rome. Plus, fans want to know Thomas’ perspective and his feelings. However, there have been a lot of loopholes and questions about what happened in Rome.

According to the Bold and the Beautiful fans, Thomas is better off without Hope. Hope wants nothing to do with him even though they made out in Rome. Fans think he should’ve rejected her advances to avoid getting hurt.

One fan brought it up in the B&B forums on Soap Central. The thread is titled, “Thomas is assuming he would have a real chance with Hope, but should’ve rejected her!” The user explained that Thomas assumed that Hope was into him as well.

She put that thinking into his head. Instead of succumbing to her advances, he should’ve rejected her. Maybe this would’ve driven Hope crazy instead of the other way around. It’s too dangerous for Hope to play with Thomas’s feelings like that, especially with his history of obsessing over her.

“I am the one who said for days, ‘Please let him reject her, because Thomas will never make her fall in love with him.’ Ever,” the fan argued. “Too much damage there and Hope don’t love him, in that way. Not in the way that matters, nor will she ever.”
