He came across Hope, who was talking to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Liam looked up as he saw the two smiling and in close conversation.

He saw his wife move closer to Thomas. She grabbed him by the face and kissed him. Liam realizes at that moment that his wife has feelings for Thomas. It wasn’t Thomas who tried to kiss Hope. She made the move all by herself.
