General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Eddie Maine/Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is going to be sticking around for a while at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place. This is going to cause Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) great anxiety. She needs Eddie out of her orbit, not reeled deeper into it. Nina can hardly tell Sonny that, or offer up any good explanation for why she feels that way. But Sonny feels like he needs to go out on a limb for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) right now, and Nina can’t argue that without sounding cold and calculating. Rather, she’ll have to embrace this for what it is — an opportunity to manipulate the situation once again. Nina will plot to use her time around Eddie to convince him that this is exactly who he is supposed to be.

Sonny didn’t waste time welcoming Eddie into his home. The guy is clearly down on his luck, and Olivia was panicking that she might never see her husband again. While Sonny might not have a problem with never seeing Ned return to his senses, he does have a problem with turning away from a friend in need. Olivia called on him to do something, and Sonny acted. Bringing Eddie back to his place was not ideal, but it was the best chance anyone had at keeping him in Port Charles right now.

Of course, the only person Nina really trusts with her dirty little secret is Ava Jerome. It remains to be seen whether that will be a lasting friendship, as Ava is starting to work against Nina’s fiancé. Furthermore, Ava has been telling Nina for weeks that she should tell Sonny the truth. She has encouraged her friend to come clean, noting that the best possible outcome is one that ends with Sonny hearing the truth from Nina’s lips versus anyone else’s. Nina might know Ava is right, but she’s hanging onto every thread she can grab onto that will buy her more time with the mobster. But this time around, Nina is going to want Ava’s help stage to manipulate Eddie. Will Miss Jerome go all in with her?

Harrison Chase And Brook Lynn Quatermaine Are Onto Her

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are onto Nina. Chase saw the video footage at the pool, and he knows Nina was there and backed away. Why would the business owner of the establishment where Ned sustained his injury pull out her phone to call 911 and then slowly put it back and walk away? Did she want this to happen? How could she possibly predict it? Is she the person that Ned was walking away from? With too many questions and so few answers, Brook Lynn and Chase will keep a tight lid on what they know until just the right time. One thing is for sure; it’s not going to bode well for Nina.
