Marlena is going to find out that Whitley had kidnapped Abe. Whitley had wanted to protect Abe from Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman). Abe had been attacked by Colin because Colin wanted to get revenge on Abe’s wife Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and her daughter Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens).
Whitley had decided to tell Abe that she was Paulina. Whitley had been surprised that Abe had been suspicious of her. Whitley thought that she could make Abe believe that Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.) was his son Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). Whitley knew that Paulina was determined to find Abe. Whitley convinced Jerry to help her to fake Abe’s death. Whitley has taken drastic measures to keep Abe from leaving her.
Whitley was shocked to find out that Abe’s daughter Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) had been able to find Abe. Whitley decided that she needed to drug Lani to keep her from taking Abe away from her. Whitley is trying to keep her world with Abe from falling apart. Whitley is going to find that she cannot keep Abe away from the ones that care about him. Whitley had tried to get Abe to believe that Jerry was Theo but Abe had been able to find out the truth about Jerry from watching the soap opera Body and Soul. Abe had been surprised that Jerry was really an actor. Whitley had decided that she needed to drug Abe to keep him from trying to remember the truth. Abe will need to get Marlena to help him to recover his lost memories. Marlena will be determined to help Abe to make a full recovery.
