VPR Alum Jax Taylor Remembers His Dad, Ronald Cauchi

Vanderpump Rules (VPR) alum, Jax Taylor took to his Instagram Stories on June 12 and remembered his dad, Ronald Cauchi. The loss of his father happened in 2017 and the cause of death was esophageal cancer. At the time, was a heartbreaking experience for Jax. Recall, he was also working on his relationship with Brittany Cartwright. Sadly, the news ruined what looked like a fun time. at Christmas. Jax has since paid tribute to his father’s memory with heartfelt messages on social media. This week, the Bravo alum didn’t forget his father’s birthday.

VPR: Jax Taylor Was Furious When Ronald Cauchi Died

If you don’t know, after Ronald passed away, Jax and his mom went through a period of estrangement. In fact, he was so angry because she apparently played down his dad’s condition. In fact, he heard that she planned to leave  Ronald before his death, and she just said he was doing okay. Meanwhile, he was actually in ICU. It’s not clear if he ever reconciled with her. Certainly,  he doesn’t seem to post photos of his gorgeous son, Cruz with his grandmother.

The VPR alum remembers his dad with a lot of fondness. Recently, he reminisced about how he used to love going to Disneyland with his parents. So, it made his heart swell when he was able to take Cruz there. Nowadays, he’s busy making precious memories that Cruz Cauchi will remember for the rest of his life. Mind you, the cute kid was so tuckered out that he fell asleep in his dad’s arms from all the excitement.

VPR Alum Jax Remembers His Dad On His Birthday

If Ronald Cauchi had not died, he might have spent some wonderful times with Cruz. In fact, he might have proudly watched Brittany Cartwright and Jax tie the knot. Sadly, it was not meant to be. If he had lived, he would have just turned 66 years old. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Jax talked about his dad with fondness.

In his caption, the VPR alum wrote, “Happy birthday in heaven dad. We miss you so much.” Next, as he’d gone shopping on an empty stomach, he said, “What I imagine heaven looks like.” In that photo, he revealed rows of sweet treats.

Remembering Ronald

While the VPR star was into public appearances and some fame, his mom, and dad were not. So, folks didn’t see much of them at all. Ronald worked at Sun Toyota in Florida. Actually, he grew up in Michigan, graduated high school, and went on to study at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Like his son, his big passion was hockey and especially, the Detroit Red Wings.
