The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Are The Abbott Siblings Acting Like Children?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that the rivalry between siblings Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t simmer down anytime soon. In fact, added teasers hint that it’ll intensify as fans head into the summer. So much so, that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will feel stuck in the middle of it all, while Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will go into major peacemaker mode.

Still, at the age that both Ashley and Jack are at, their behavior as of late has been childish.

It’s hard to say which of them is acting worse at this point. Jack has been annoyed about his love affair with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) as of late. On the one hand, it makes sense why he’s behaving like a teenager, it’s been a long while since he’s had some romance in his life. On the other hand, he’s also being a hypocrite. Not only when it comes to Ashley dating Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), but it’s as if he feels like the only person in GC who deserves the benefit of the doubt is Diane.

Meanwhile, Ashley isn’t behaving any better. Diane has been successful in cutting Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) out of Jack’s life because she drove Red crazy. Seems like she’s doing the same with Ash. Ms. Abbott’s “pretend” wedding to Tucker is something one would expect from a 20-something in daytime drama, not from a grandmother.

Jack and Ashley have had many arguments over the years; however, when push comes to shove, they always resolve their differences and come back together. It’s hard not for fans to feel as if Tucker and Diane might be working together (secretly), as the Abbott sibling rivalry seems to benefit these two the most. Still, here’s hoping that both Jack and Ash wake up and see how childish they are acting before it is too late.
