General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) family is waiting with bated breath for him to wake up, and they have no idea what to expect when he does. We know that when he opens his eyes, he will be a changed man, but to what extent? Fans of the show are abuzz with theories about whose personality Ned might take on, and the rumors are spreading faster than wildfire. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will be thrilled that her husband is awake and ready to get back to living life, but will he return to the life he shared with her up until his fall at the hotel pool?

Everyone will be floored when Ned fails to recognize his own wife, most of all Olivia. All Nina wants is for Ned to stay gone and take the painful truth about her reporting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to the SEC for insider trading with him. Nina’s heart probably races at the thought of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) ever finding out what she has done. She cannot risk losing them, and Ned could jeopardize everything if he starts talking. The weight of this secret is going to be suffocating for Nina, and she will likely realize there may be no going back from the choices she has made.

Is Lois Coming Back Around?

Did we forget to mention that Ned will also think he’s still married to Lois Cerullo (Lesli Kay)? Fans are drooling over the potential for this storyline and wondering if it’ll mean Lois comes back to the screen. Well, while we might see Lesli Kay jump on board, there is little to no hope for the OG Lois — Rena Sofer — to make a comeback. Given that she and Wally Kurth were real-life husband and wife, and that their marriage didn’t end on amicable terms, it’s safe to say they won’t be playing off of each other again.
