Apparently, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wander off by themselves after the unparalleled success of the showing, celebrating the success and their work efforts. When Liam spots them, they are on a ridge of the Colosseum, and Hope throws herself at Thomas, and kisses him passionately, Liam going into shock waves. At that moment he realizes what Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) warned him about is true-Hope has become obsessed with Thomas and she, not Thomas is the instigator!

Thomas seems taken aback and Liam can see it, although he quickly responds in kind and the two start making out. Of course, he can’t hear what’s said, but he can certainly see the body language and that it wasn’t Thomas starting it, it was Hope.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates -Liam Spencer’s World Will Crash Around Him

Liam’s world will crash around him as all doubt about who his wife really loves is erased-and his worst fears are realized. Now he has to wonder if all of Hope’s unusual passion in the bedroom was really because she was fantasizing about Thomas! If that’s what Liam is wondering, unfortunately, he would be right, and this has been going on for months now. Here he was worrying about Thomas going after Hope, and it’s Hope going after Thomas, tables he never dreamed in his worst nightmares would be turned. It was Hope all along this time, but he couldn’t believe what Steffy was trying to warn him around-of course, she focused on Hope not tearing down all Thomas’ progress.

Now What?

Now what is Liam supposed to do, seeing his grand romantic gesture has done nothing but herald the end of his marriage? He really thought the romance of Rome would make a difference, and that he and Hope could bridge the endless gap that he could sense was growing between them. But instead, it revealed a bitter truth-that Liam is not enough man for Hope, and possibly that he never has been.

Why else would she start pursuing romance and more with Thomas, who previously she’d rejected? Has she really wanted Thomas over Liam all alone, and she’s been lying to herself-Liam doesn’t know, he just doesn’t know.
