General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Joss Is No Sam McCall, But She Might Be A Courtney
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint recent developments have sparked speculation among fans that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may be stepping into his father’s shoes as the new Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), while Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) could be embracing a role more reminiscent of Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis). Of course, that leaves Michael’s right-hand man, and Joss’ boyfriend, filling the shoes of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) — a role fans have seen Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) pigeon-holed into since the very start. Could it be that GH is transitioning fans for the next era of turf wars, love lost, and brothers bonded by the mob?
General Hospital Spoilers — #TeamSonny
For months now, Michael has been secretly working against his own father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). With Dex’s help, Michael embarked on a plan to see to it that Sonny’s reign over Port Charles finally came to a dramatic end. However, when Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) discovered his intentions, she urged him to abandon his revenge plot. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has other plans though. Convincing Michael to stay loyal to his dad wasn’t as tough of a task as she would have imagined. In fact, he took right to the idea of working for #TeamSonny. But could this loyalty be a cover for a deeper plan? Fans speculate that Michael may be positioning himself to take over Sonny’s criminal empire in the future — and then burn it to the ground. Or at least, that’s what he’s telling himself, because certainly Michael is exempt from falling for the mob, right?
General Hospital Updatess – Dex Heller Is Definitely A Jason Morgan
While Michael may have abandoned their revenge plan, Dex remains captivated by the allure of mob life. Joss attempted to dissuade her beau from continuing down this dangerous path. However, Dex is enamored with the thrill and financial rewards that come with being Sonny’s right-hand man. He is determined to rise through the ranks and potentially become the next Jason. Dex’s commitment to his chosen path raises questions about his true intentions and how Sonny will ultimately perceive his actions, though. If Sonny finds out how Dex really came into the business, and why he decided to stay working with Michael, all chances of filling Jason’s shoes could go up in flames.
Joss Jax’s Image Is Shaping Up
Joss, known for her good-girl image, has been striving to distance herself from any association with the criminal world ever since she turned 18 and headed off to college. Growing up surrounded by the darkness of Sonny’s world, she wanted nothing to do with it. And now here she is — in love with a mob enforcer. Fans are drawing parallels between Joss and Courtney, Sonny’s sister, who fell in love with Jason and eventually married him. Courtney’s aversion to mob life ultimately led to their divorce, and her tragic death left a lasting impact on the whole family. Similarly, Hoss’ reluctance to fully embrace the darker side of Dex’s world hints at her potential fate as a modern-day Courtney. So she’s not a Sam; is that so bad? Weigh in and let us know how you picture Joss evolving into the future — and the mob, and keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.

[…] Sonny didn’t waste time welcoming Eddie into his home. The guy is clearly down on his luck, and Olivia was panicking that she might never see her husband again. While Sonny might not have a problem with never seeing Ned return to his senses, he does have a problem with turning away from a friend in need. Olivia called on him to do something, and Sonny acted. Bringing Eddie back to his place was not ideal, but it was the best chance anyone had at keeping him in Port Charles right now. […]
