Devoted fans know that Hope resisted every attempt Thomas made toward her until the current demeanor shift was written into the script. Their short-lived marriage was one of convenience for Hope. She did not respond to the kisses Thomas offered at the time and never cavorted with him.
Thomas’ most recent attempt to force Hope to be with him happened last year. He was fired for framing her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Hope’s inability to deal with the thoughts racing through her mind led to her blaming Brooke’s reputation as a player for applying undue pressure on her. Hope abdicated personal responsibility.

Hope is living two lives. One she is familiar with. It takes place at the cabin where she plays Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) loving wife.
The split personality life takes place within the workspace. It is oddly labeled because of the San Francisco trip. The hotel room embrace, followed by the face-to-face eye-hold, would make anyone question reality.
Thomas long believed Hope cared for him but never realized reciprocation. Now, when he is not seeking it, she is sending repeated signals of romantic interest.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Has It Right
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hit it dead on. Hope should not be flirting with the man who pursued her obsessively for years.
So, why is she doing so? Steffy’s logical theory is that Thomas’ endless admiration made an impact on Hope’s mind.
She liked the attention. Now that it is lacking, she is reflexively seeking a return to the norm. But she is the chaser in this scenario.
Liam Spencer Will Be Shocked
Liam fears Thomas basically harassing his wife. He believes she is a moral giant, incapable of doing anything willfully wrong unless that is purely projecting hope into the future, with the backhanded pun fully intended.
Hope’s attempts to mask her conflicted feelings are producing repeated reassurances. But at some point in the plot, Liam will have to overhear, oversee or directly learn what is happening.
Thomas is not the villain in this change-of-pace storyline. Hope is positioned as the betrayer, which is good soap on B&B.
