Hallmark Announces Premiere Dates For June Weddings & The Return of Aurora Teagarden

With summer on the way, Hallmark has revealed several special premiere dates when it comes to two fan-favorite movie series. Yes, after a mild shake-up when it comes to some of Hallmark’s beloved stars leaving the fold, it seems the network is back and with some great entertainment to look forward to.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – A Whole New Round Of Wedding Vows Set To Be Seen

In the month of June, a whole new round of June Wedding installments will premiere. The four movie installments are set to debut each Saturday night, beginning on June 3rd. The four installments are entitled Wedding Season, Love’s Greek To Me, The Wedding Contract and Make Me A Match.

Set to star in the installments are actress Torey DeVitto (Beautiful People), Becca Tobin (Glee), Eva Bourne (When Calls The Heart), Jake Epstein (Degrassi), Casey Deidrick (Days Of Our Lives) and Stephanie Bennett (Shadowhunters) and Rushi Kota of Never Have I Ever fame. The whole new round of June Weddings will feature various couples as they fall in love with one another, ultimately tying the knot. Each instance is set in a different destination with a numbered of interesting characters introduced.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

On Hallmark’s sister network, Lacey Chabert will take the reigns with The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango opposite Will Kemp. The film is also co-produced by the pair and will air on June 2nd.

The following Friday, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Something New will make its debut. The new installment is a prequel set to star Skyler Samuels as the young Aurora Teagarden. The role was previously played by Candace Cameron Bure who has since left for another network. Aurora Teagarden fans were once worried the show wouldn’t go on but Hallmark is bringing back the young sleuth with cast member Marilu Henner (Taxi) seat to play her mom. Actor Evan Roderick (Arrow) will portray the young Arthur Smith.

According to Hallmark’s official synopsis, mystery, murder, and another is set to unfold. “When Sally’s fiancé doesn’t show up at their wedding rehearsal, Maid of Honor Aurora gets Arthur to help her search for him. When they discover a body, everyone assumes it is Sally’s tardy groom, but when it turns out to be someone else, Sally’s fiancé becomes the main suspect.”
