Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is thrilled to know that her mother, Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is alive and well. Stephanie believed that she missed telling her mother goodbye on her deathbed because of Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) interference. Alex and Stephanie were about to make love for the first time and because Alex didn’t want Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to interrupt them, he made the mistake of turning off Stephanie’s phone.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera Was Calling Stephanie Johnson For A Very Good Reason!

While it’s true that Chad was calling Stephanie’s phone, he wasn’t trying to interrupt her tryst with Alex. In reality, Chad was trying to reach Stephanie to let her know that Kayla was at death’s door. Unfortunately, by the time Stephanie found out it was too late and Kayla was declared dead. When Stephanie discovered what Alex had done, she dumped him. Alex knew he had done the wrong thing, but Stephanie figured out what he did before he could confess which made things even worse between them.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Chad DiMera And Stephanie Johnson Are Now A Couple!

Almost the moment that Stephanie gave Alex the boot, Chad declared his love for Stephanie. Chad has had a difficult time in the past year since his wife Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was murdered. Even though he was attracted to Stephanie, he wasn’t ready to move on when Stephanie first started seeing Alex. But once she broke up with Alex, Chad realized he was ready and Stephanie was thrilled that Chad was finally ready to choose her.

But now that Kayla has been revealed to be alive and well, Stephanie may rethink her decision. Alex really didn’t keep Stephanie from having a conversation with Kayla. But she’s involved with Chad now and Alex has seemingly moved on with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). If Stephanie decides that she really wants Alex, she won’t just be hurting Chad but possibly Gwen as well. But now that Kayla has a new lease on life, Stephanie may decide to go after what she wants even if someone gets hurt.
