General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Who Will Get Cold Feet First In Taking Sonny Down — Michael Or Dex?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is zeroing in on Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) secret, and in due time he’s going to figure out who has been pulling Dex’s puppet strings. Dex hasn’t been very good at keeping his shifty behavior in line, and Sonny has noticed. However, he’s not new to this. Sonny has had associates try to play him and take him down before. He doesn’t quite understand what Dex is up to, but he suspects it’s not good, and enough that he can’t trust him anymore. Hence, cutting him out of the Pikeman deal. To Dex’s face, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) appeared cool, calm, and collected about his father’s behavior, but on the inside, Michael is every bit as worried that something is amiss. Michael and Dex might not be as cut out for this revenge game as they thought. Who will run screaming first?

When Sonny discovers Michael — his own son — is actually behind the whole thing, his behavior is going to get Dex even more rattled. Sonny isn’t just going to blow the whole thing up. That wouldn’t be his style. Instead, he’s far more inclined to lead people to their own deaths and cause them to blow their own lives up in his presence. Sonny loves a good takedown himself. It looks like the apple may not fall far from the tree. When Dex starts feeling like Sonny is intentionally dropping hints to let him know he’s onto him, he may reach a new level of panic that Michael doesn’t appreciate.

General Hospital Updates – Michael Corinthos Won’t Let His Worry Show

While Dex is wearing a hole in the floor pacing back and forth and trying to decide whether Sonny is too close to figuring him out for him to push forward with this plan, Michael will look like he’s cooling his heels. This may lead to some frustration between Michael and Dex, who will feel like Michael doesn’t stand to lose as much as Dex does if this whole thing falls apart. However, Michael stands to lose plenty; his perspective has just shifted because right now, he only cares about making sure he doesn’t lose Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Someone Gives In And Begs For Forgiveness

Michael and Dex are both in over their heads when going up against Sonny. Which one of them will give in first is difficult to gauge. On one hand, Michael has every reason to run to his father begging for forgiveness and coming clean about what he has done — noting that his feelings have changed since he hired Dex. On the flip side, Dex could butter Sonny up, roll over on Michael revealing all, and claim that he just wants to live up to the man Sonny sees in him.
