General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is going to make time to sit down with her dear friend, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), soon. The last time they bumped into one another, Curtis couldn’t believe the news that Nina had learned Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was her daughter. They didn’t get too deep into the details of Nina’s story and how much Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was involved in hiding the truth about Willow and Nina’s relationship, but now that Curtis is struggling with someone all too similar, they’re going to open up to one another in a whole new way.

Nina is celebrating a lot these days. Not only does she have a second chance at having the mother-daughter relationship she has always longed for, but Willow is probably going to survive her fight with cancer — an outlook the family wasn’t able to have until Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) recently learned she is a bone marrow match for Willow. Now that Nina has hope again, she just might encourage Curtis to hold out for the same, but that doesn’t mean she won’t make time to commiserate with him first.
General Hospital Updates – Curtis Ashford Might, too!
Curtis could have a daughter, but they’ll have to wait for the DNA she doesn’t want to know for sure. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) didn’t show any signs of pushing Curtis away or intending to keep him at arms’ length, but she also isn’t ready to know if he’s more than just a stepdad to her. Either way, she made it clear her dad — Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) — will always be her dad in her heart, which Curtis expected. He and Nina will be able to relate to one another in that way, because Nina knows Harmony Miller (Igna Cadranel) may not have been perfect, but she was the only mother Willow ever knew and she can’t be replaced.
Misery Loves Company
Meanwhile, both Nina and Curtis have some pretty considerable anger over how they came to find out about their potential connections to Willow and Trina. Carly confirmed the DNA test all on her own without Nina or Willow’s consent and then conspired to keep it a secret forever — even going so far as to lie to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about it and sabotage his efforts to look for Willow’s biological relatives. Curtis knows just how she feels, given that his wife hid the same thing from him for the last two decades and didn’t think he ever had to know.
