General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will be taken aback when a surprise visitor shows up in her hospital room ready to convince her that they know what is best for her baby boy, Ace Cassadine. Esme is going to be surprised to have someone trying to school her, and she won’t take kindly to what she perceives as manipulation. However, she just might be willing to hear this visitor out if they mind their business and offer advice from a place of love and concern for Ace. After all, no one really wants to see him start his life behind bars — even if he is with his mother.

Elizabeth might come back around, despite how poorly her last conversation went with Esme. As the time comes for Esme to be transported back to Spring Ridge, Elizabeth might catch wind of the struggle Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is having securing custody of Esme and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) baby. When Elizabeth heads back to Esme’s room this time, it’s going to be with good intentions. She hasn’t felt right about the way she rolled over on Nikolas — no matter how angry she is with him. Just because the police granted her immunity doesn’t mean she’s not guilty, and she feels like she should pay for what she’s done in some way. The least she could do is offer to care for baby Ace in Esme’s absence.

General Hospital Updates – Charlotte Cassadine Appeals To Esme Prince

It’s also possible that Laura Collin’s (Genie Francis) granddaughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain), could stop by in hope of being able to convince Esme that her grandmother is the most loving and trustworthy person in Port Charles. Sure, she may have given birth to a Cassadine, and Esme may have had the misfortune of having a baby with that man, but Laura gives her all to her grandbabies. Charlotte’s words could go a long way in convincing Esme that Laura is well-intentioned, but she also might dismiss her merely based on her name.

Maggie Fitzgerald Crosses The Pond

The most likely person to show up in Esme’s room at this point is Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt), her former nanny. Of course, Esme won’t have any memory of Maggie, but that doesn’t mean it won’t comfort her to know she is finally connecting with someone who doesn’t likely have an agenda against her or her son. With Esme preparing to go back to prison, she could decide the best place for her baby to be is with the very nanny her own parents entrusted to protect and raise her.
