General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Rides the Fence Between Nikolas and Spencer

General Hospital Spoilers hint Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has a tough decision ahead of her that she won’t want to make. We know Laura though. She won’t let fear control her any more than she will allow her family’s manipulations to do such. Still, it’ll be heartbreaking for Laura to feel she has to choose between two of the people who mean the most to her in this world, and she just might refuse to do so. We sure hope Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) is in his lady’s corner as she prepares to endure this battle between her son and her grandson.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Declares War

Spencer is about to make a major announcement that will send shockwaves through the community. Not only does he appear to empathize with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), he is so vehemently against his father that he wants to take his unborn child from him.

When Spencer lets the world know he intends to sue for custody of his father’s baby with Esme, heads will turn. Sure, he already has a few important people on his side, and that’s going to sting when Nik realizes they all knew. Nonetheless, Spencer doesn’t plan on having any further contact with his father. He’ll see him in court!

GH Spoilers Suggest Nik is Flabbergasted, But Laura Isn’t

Admittedly, Nikolas is offended but might also consider this a pretty laughable offense. Still, when he finds out his aunt, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), knew about Spencer’s plans and not only didn’t alert Nikolas but didn’t discourage Spencer, he will be beside himself. Furthermore, finding that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has turned on him and intends to cooperate with Spencer and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) to take everything from Nikolas, he will be devastated.

But nothing will top Ava also working with Spencer to take his family and his home away in one fell swoop. When Nikolas vents to his mother about how everyone has turned against him, he won’t feel the support he longs for from her, and she won’t hold back in asking if he can really blame them.

General Hospital Spoilers — Pick Your Side!

Ultimately, this war is going to be bloody, and Laura’s family will expect her to pick a side. Choosing between her son and her grandson will feel impossible. It’s a lose-lose situation because she doesn’t want to lose either one of them. She knows how well a Cassadine man can hold a grudge. How is she supposed to decide which one of them she would rather betray? In the end, Laura might choose team sanity and stick with herself, letting them work it out in court on their own.
