The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Bill Attempts Family Therapy, Mediates Between Finn And Sheila?
The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) tries his hand at something he’s obviously not trained for – family therapy! He mediates between Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) trying to make peace between them.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – She’s Hurt By Her Family’s Rejection
Bill knows that Sheila is hurt by her family’s rejection, and she’s said in the past that her other children have all rejected her and want nothing to do with her. She has several children, one son and three daughters and some of them have children but they’re scattered all over the country and she has no idea where they are. To hear her tell it, Finn is the only one of her children she’s been able to keep track of, and that’s why she showed up at his wedding.
Bill, too, has made egregious mistakes in the past – almost killing one son while demolishing a building. But since he’s been able to heal those things-before breaking ties with them again over his relationship with Sheila-he thinks he can help Sheila.
The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – A Few Parallels
There are a few parallels between Bill’s experience with Liam and Wyatt Spencer (Scott Clifton, Darin Brooks) and Sheila’s with Finn. Both parents’ relationships were established with already grown children, Bill not knowing about Liam or Wyatt until they were adults, and they not knowing about him. The revelation of Finn’s birth mother being Sheila and the result of her affair with Jack Finnegan (Ted King) blew his and Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) marriage apart. Liam and Bill didn’t find each other until after Liam’s mother was dead, Wyatt and Bill when Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) and Wyatt moved to town. Sheila having shot Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) after leaving her and Finn for dead, however, is a LOT to try and overcome.
A Big Commitment
Bill then makes a big commitment to Sheila and their future together, in spite of her “colorful” past, and he’s determined to see her happy, feeling she deserves it. He truly believes, however delusionally, that Sheila wouldn’t hurt anyone and he’s on the alert and will enforce that. Now he’s focused on trying to be a vehicle of reconciliation between her and Finn, and to that end pays him a visit, trying to get him to visit her.
Bill truly believes if Finn will give Sheila a chance and spend some time together, with him there to enforce peace, they can find common ground. But now is an even worse time to try this reconciliation move, with Finn and Steffy caring for her nephew Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and keeping him safe.
