General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Spencer and Trina finally giving into their feelings for one another and sharing a tender kiss.

It’s been a long time coming, but this week the moment finally arrives. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) finally share a kiss after nearly two years of waiting. The pair almost shared their first kiss at Wyndemere just a few short months after first meeting but Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) showed up to interrupt them and announce that she was Spencer’s girlfriend.

Drama and pathos worthy soap star-crossed lovers have ensued since then and it took until December for them to finally become friends with no real obstacles between them. They are finally comfortable around one another and are no longer denying how much they enjoy being together.

Spencer is there for Trina this week while she is devastated by her mother’s lifetime of deceit. Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) may not be her father and instead, it could be Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). This is too much for Trina to take but Spencer will comfort her.

Of course, Spencer also has his own parental problems as he just learned that Nikolas Cassadine allegedly left town without even saying goodbye. However, this moment is more Trina than his and Spencer is only thinking about her. Trina also knows that Spencer can relate.

“For Trina, this is a moment where it’s like, ‘I need someone who can understand me right now,'” Tabyana Ali said in the February 27, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “And considering Spencer’s life, he is the perfect person to console her, to talk to about the situation, and he provides that for her.”

Trina has also seen a big change in Spencer in recent months and is able to be more vulnerable with him. That all leads to this momentous kiss.
