General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Liesl’s Preliminary Labs Say She Might Be A Match For Willow

General Hospital: Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) recently demanded to be tested to determine whether or not she is a match for the bone marrow donation that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) desperately needs to survive. It’s hard to say why this didn’t occur to Liesl or Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) before but better late than never, right? Liesl may have been motivated by her conversation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), which led to taking her straight to Willow’s room to discuss their family relationship. Will Liesl’s labwork return good news? If it does, is Willow going to hold true to the promise she made to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that she would accept a donation from whoever offered it?

General Hospital Spoilers — Liesl Obrecht May Be A Match

When Liesl’s preliminary bloodwork comes back and signals that she is a possible match for the blood marrow donation, she’s going to be over the moon with excitement. So why isn’t anyone else? Well, they’ve been through this before. Willow allowed herself to get her hopes up last time when it looked like Nina was a potential match, and she just can’t do it again — and that was the second potential match that fell through. Likewise, Michael is optimistic that Willow has a shot at surviving, but he also knows the likelihood of Liesl being a match isn’t great if Nina wasn’t one. As the family rallies around Willow and Michael in their time of need, Liesl will remain hopeful that she can be Willow’s saving grace — and Nina’s.

General Hospital Updates – Wait Is Agonizing

Waiting for the second round of lab work that will definitely show whether or not Liesl is a match for Willow will be excruciating. Everyone knows that Willow doesn’t have much time left, and if they don’t find a donor soon, she’s going to become too weak to possibly even withstand the procedure and give her body any shot at fighting it with new stem cells. She needs that bone marrow quickly, and is going to expend her nervous energy the best way she knows how to during the wait — by planning her wedding.

Willow Tait Makes The Best Of Borrowed Time

While waiting for that lab work to be returned, Willow is also going to make time for her new surprise great aunt. She might not like having Nina as a birth mother, and she may not choose to embrace her, but Liesl is her own person. She’s happy to know that she has a blood relative in the world whom she will have had a chance to know before she dies. Meanwhile, Liesl just might be able to get Willow to soften up to Nina long enough for them to share a semblance of a relationship in her final weeks. Of course, this all hinges on the idea that Willow is really going to die. If Liesl ends up being a match, will she reverse course and excommunicate them from her life? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

  1. […] Michael has been struggling with how to proceed where his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), is concerned. He doesn’t want to hurt his father the same way he used to desire. However, he’s so deep into this plot with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to take Sonny down that he’s not sure things can be called off at this juncture without serious repercussions. Besides, Dex has since gotten very involved with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), and she would pay for some of this if Sonny ever found out she and Dex were an item. Likewise, the only way Dex really stays safe is if Sonny goes to jail now. Michael definitely needs a night off from worrying about this. […]
