General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) isn’t ready to die. The news that she has a baby girl on the way has reinvigorated her commitment to beating cancer. She doesn’t want to leave her children behind without a mother to have a life similar to what she now knows. This is going to get Willow thinking a lot about family and what it means to have that kind of support system in one’s life.

When she pushes Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) once again to give up on taking Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business apart bit by bit and just learning to love his father again, it may be some serious foreshadowing of what lies ahead for Willow. Furthermore, Michael could actually take her words to heart. The problem is, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) won’t. Will Michael be able to stop the mess he put into motion?

When Willow is encouraging Michael to look past his father’s mistakes and many faults and just find love for him, she certainly won’t imagine being faced with the same situation herself. In fact, she may even presume she would do anything to know who her birth parents are, but that’s easy to say when she doesn’t know her mother is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). When she learns the truth, will she be able to set aside what she knows about Nina and forgive her in the interest of keeping the family together?

Elsewhere, Michael will try to end the game of revenge he’s put into play with Dex as the major piece of the puzzle intent to take Sonny down. He’s already tried to cut ties with Dex twice, and it didn’t work. Each time, Michael allowed Dex to talk him back into forging ahead, dangling the image of revenge in front of an angry Michael and telling him he was too close to back out now. The truth is, Dex has his own reasons for wanting to destroy Sonny, and they’re all going to come out in the wash. Some fans are speculating that Dex might be the long-lost son of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Could he be resentful that Sonny’s influence on Jason’s life cost him a relationship with his father?

The Whole Family Will Pay

While the “why” behind Dex’s actions will most certainly interest fans, the aftermath of what Dex has in store for Sonny is going to cause a ripple effect that impacts every member of his family. Taking down Sonny’s business empire sounds easy enough from the inside, but there are side effects to eliminating the luxuries that come with the drug trade.

Sonny’s ability to provide security for his family members will go out the window at the same time that he and his family instantly become more vulnerable to the other criminal enterprises in town.
