Ridge believed Brooke called CPS until Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) revealed it was Thomas called. The bombshell stunned Ridge, prompting him to call off his wedding to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). He went on a soul-searching vacation and returned to Brooke and Taylor, deciding they didn’t want to be with him. Now, Ridge has no woman, and the actor thinks it’s time for his character to visit Genoa City to find a woman that isn’t a Logan.

Brooke decides to put her first, not allowing Ridge to flip-flop between her and Taylor. That put Ridge in a tough spot. He claims he loves Brooke, but he also loves Taylor. Picking which one he wanted was difficult for him.
