General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Drew And Carly Surrender To Passion
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might surrender to passion after a romantic surprise. Jacksonville, Florida is becoming a place of resolving her past traumas and birthing new beginnings, so a new romance may begin there, too.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sexy Situations
Carly and Drew seem to be constantly thrown into sexy situations with a hot, wet Drew in a towel fresh out of the shower, and their conversations filled with double entendres. Mr. Sunshine has competed with the Florida sun to keep Carly cheered up and delivered plenty of encouragement as well, as Carly’s opened up to him. No doubt he knew some of her past through Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) still-embedded memories, but now he’s hearing them through his own perspective.
Carly is going through a time of healing and resolving past conflicts, so much so that she is considering leaving the name “Corinthos” behind. Perhaps she’ll opt for her birth mother’s surname, being known as Carly or perhaps Caroline Spencer going forward.
General Hospital Updates – A Historical Mission
Carly is on a historical mission of a different sort with Drew by her side in the fight; it’s plain to see that Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) is fighting ugly. Drew and Carly were going to use the power of the press to win against the Jacksonville Beautification Guild in the battle of the haves against the have-nots. But now there’s a full-blown smear campaign against Carly and her family of origin as well as who she’s become since leaving Jacksonville. They are trying to save the cemetery that Virginia Benson (Lois Nettleton) is buried, Carly notes on a news broadcast the families of those buried there are all working class. Carly and Drew are on a type of historical mission to preserve the history of those working families who once were the backbone of Jacksonville and their final resting place.
A Speech To The City Council
Carly and Drew are set to attend the Jacksonville City Council meeting the week of October 10, where Carly will make an impassioned speech to the city council. Drew will be supporting Carly, of course, but it will be Carly, whose roots are there in the town she grew up in who’ll be under pressure. She will also have a catch-up session with her mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) afterward, so she may show up there too.
They hope the plan and the speech will work, but Peyton’s got the strings to pull so it won’t. However, there’ll be a pleasant surprise for Carly during the same week, so that might mean she and Drew will consummate their new romance.
