Nate informed Victoria that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wanted to take Chancellor-Winters public. Lily and Devon got the idea for the IPO launch from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Nate believes that Victoria could buy the majority of the shares in Chancellor-Winters and get control of the company. Nate has told Victoria that he will entrust her with his shares in Chancellor-Winters in order to run the company. Victoria has agreed to the deal but she wants to be certain that she will be able to complete her plans. Victoria turned to her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for his input on the situation. Nick warned Victoria that she could get into trouble over the issue of insider trading. Victoria decided that she needed to go to Victor to get his take on the situation. Victor believes that Victoria could take the chance to acquire Chancellor-Winters.
