Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been the one defending Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to ice queen Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for weeks, but when Sally fails to show up at a meeting, Victoria wants to fire her on the spot. While Nick does his best to talk Vicky out of it, he is secretly steaming at Sally for making him look like a fool.

Sally is shocked when Nick pays a visit and starts in on her for missing the meeting when he has been her champion all this time. He knows her talents and what she can do for Newman Media, but he also knows his sister and wants Sally to shape up before Victoria ships her out as she has wanted to do. After all, Victoria doesn’t really care who she hurts if she thinks they are beneath her.

This causes Sally to finally realize how much Nick really does care for her so she decides to engage in some playful flirting and one thing leads to another…

The Young And The Restless Updates – Will Nick Now Replace Adam?

This seems too much like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra earlier this year when they ended up taking things to the couch in Sally’s office. Now, Sally will have slept with two Newman brothers in the same spot, so yes, she gets around, but not really.

What does this mean for Sally and Adam now that she is with his big brother, Nick? Is this the new endgame couple? (It’s ok to cry, Shick fans. Yes, we still don’t know what Sharon was turned into a widow.)

“It’s the first time that they’ve actually touched and there’s that kind of moment of something intimate happening here,” Joshua Morrow said in the September 19, 2022, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “They suddenly kiss and before you know it, they’re ripping each other’s clothes off and having sex on her office couch. Afterward, they have to figure out if this random act will turn into something that they both want to pursue or will they regret what they’ve done.”
