The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) scolded the two women who love him. He spoke sternly to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), who projected their mutual jealously through a paint splash scene.

Long-time B&B fans know that Brooke and Taylor have often battled with each other, sometimes physically. A cake fight happened a handful of years ago during Hunter Tylo’s (Taylor) last run on the show.

The most recent battle involved Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) paint bottles and supplies he left behind when leaving the Forrester mansion with his dad.

The sight of Allen and Lang squirting paint on each other was fun. A bit of comic relief was needed after months of a heavy Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) storyline that ended in what most characters believe was her grisly death.

Taylor and Brooke have not secured Ridge. That is an unusual Limbo-like state because, beneath the paint, Brooke still sports the wedding ring Ridge gave her.

Having Ridge arrives at the mansion halted round two of the melees. The basis of this fight was steeped in Brooke telling Taylor that she was using Douglas to try and pit Ridge against his wife.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Ridge Forrester Was Not Amused

Taylor and Brooke behaved like Ridge was the high school football captain. They were playing the roles of jealous cheerleaders who were vying for his attention and eventual date at the prom.

Ridge was bothered by their child-like behavior, especially because Douglas could have returned to the home where he is currently living with his dad, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), grandfather, Eric Forrester (John McCook), and Brooke’s sister, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis).

Taylor’s tell about Brooke bothered Ridge. That reaction leaves space for the developing battle over Douglas that pits the Forresters against the Logan and Spencer families.

Brooke Logan Forrester Can Not Remain Neutral

Brooke feels like she is a matriarch of some sort. In some ways, she is.

There is nothing wrong with Brooke backing her daughter. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has been a solid adoptive mother to Douglas.

Ridge respects that. But, always ready to believe Thomas has turned a permanent corner, Ridge is backing his oldest son.

If Brooke is not careful, she could alienate Ridge. So, while she may not want to believe it, Brooke should hope for a compromise agreement where Douglas spends time with both of his parents on B&B. Without that, Hope will need to relent to Thomas’ desire or fight him legally.
