Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Paulina Runs For Governor, Can She Win?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) had planned to convince her husband Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to run for Governor. Abe was reluctant at first, but after some convincing, he finally agreed. In the meantime, Paulina hired Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to be their PR person. Stephanie agreed, but the first results from focus groups made it clear that although Abe had a very good rating, it was Paulina who tested better as the potential Governor.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Paulina Price Has Had Many Scandals In Her Past!

Paulina was shocked to learn of these results. She was afraid that her own scandalous past would hurt Abe’s chances. Paulina has a history of deception in Salem, both on the professional as well as personal front. A little over a year ago, Paulina deceived Abe and the rest of Salem by letting them think she was building something called Price Town right on top of where Horton Square currently is. And although she told Salem residents that small businesses would thrive in Price Town, the truth was that she wanted to bulldoze Horton Square and put a large retail store in its place. Paulina eventually abandoned plans for Price Town, but it took Abe and the rest of Salem a long time to forgive her deception.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Abe Carver Eventually Forgave Paulina Price!

After the Price Town, fiasco and other deceptions were uncovered, Abe and Paulina broke up. But Abe eventually forgave Paulina and they got married. It wasn’t long after that Paulina pushed for Abe to look into the Governor position. It took quite a bit of convincing, but Abe finally agreed. Although Abe polled very highly with Stephanie’s focus groups because of his honesty and loyalty, it was Paulina who the group indicated would make a good governor.

Paulina Price For Governor!

While it is certainly true that Paulina has quite a few scandals even in her recent past, her flair and determination to get the job done are what will make her an excellent candidate for Governor of whichever state Salem happens to be located in. It took a minute for the realization to sink in, but Paulina is now ready to face the challenge head-on and may just win the upcoming election. Abe will stand by his wife proudly as she undertakes this new calling.

What do you think?

Should Abe or Paulina run for Governor? Will Paulina’s past cause issues with voters? Will Paulina become the next Governor? Anything can happen in Salem so stay tuned to Days of Our Lives airing weekdays on NBC.
