When Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) runs into Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) at Society, she knows something is up or why would this LA-based investigative reporter be in Genoa City? She sits down to chat her up and Talia lies that she is there to do a story on Ashland Locke (Robert Newman(. Since Diane knew the man, she offers Talia an interview just to trip her up and Talia doesn’t know what to say.

Of course, the audience knows Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) brought Talia to town to bring down Diane and it looks like Diane knows it too, but she is willing to play it cool for a while.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Diane Jenkins Bides Her Time

In fact, the way Nikki and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have been acting is kind of amusing to Diane. These are two grown women who are now obsessed with her and upending their lives just to expose what they think is the truth. In fact, they look a little over the top when they declare Diane the most hated woman in Genoa City.

Diane is no such thing but she was crazy enough to give people a whole lot of trouble once. She seems sincere now but it could be an act, or it could be the real deal and Nikki and Phyllis are making fools of themselves over nothing.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) seem to trust her more and more each day and it’s clear that Diane wants Jack back in her life in a lot of ways. And maybe that is what is driving Phyllis nuts the most. She is not sure if she can compete with Diane so she sabotaged her whole relationship with Jack without really meaning to. And she might not be able to repair that any time in the near future.
