The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could, theoretically, surprise everyone. He could opt to be single.

If Ridge respects Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), he will tell her that he kissed Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) in Monaco. He will tell his wife he did so because he has feelings for both ladies.

If Ridge respects Taylor, he will not kiss her again or start any form of a relationship until he decides to remain committed to Brooke or to divorce her once and for all. And he will not immediately consider remarriage moments after the paperwork is filed with the Los Angeles County courthouse.

Is it possible that Ridge chooses to remain single for an indefinite period? Sure. But is it likely? Absolutely not.

Ridge is like Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), though he would never likely admit it. Both men have a hard time remaining committed to one lady. While that is true of other male characters on his show, including, most recently, Eric Forrester (John McCook), and of female characters like Brooke, Ridge claims Bill as his nemesis for reasons that are related to his so-called destiny.

If Ridge were committed to Brooke, he would not have overreacted to a photo where she and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) were simply near each other in what was an obvious family scene that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) digitally posted.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Brooke Logan Forrester Can Not Slip Up

Brooke was wronged on New Year’s Eve. Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) setup generated major implications for Brooke, Deacon, who Sheila claimed to be helping, Ridge and others.

Lang’s character did nothing wrong while in the Forrester Creations’ executive suite. Hope was at work with her dad and did not know her mother was working when they entered.

But even though Brooke has remained fully committed to Ridge and has continuously expressed patience as he has been thinking matters through, she must remain vigilant. Brooke’s past behavior, which she openly admits was reckless, fuels Ridge’s uncertainty. So, if Brooke stays steady, she will have done her part in their most recent marriage.

Taylor Hayes Can Not Be Shy

Taylor’s approach, since returning from missionary work, has been respectful of Ridge’s emotions. Enough of that already.

Ridge is no teddy bear who must be handled with kid gloves. Taylor senses an opportunity for reconciliation. If Allen’s character defers Ridge’s meanderings, she is giving him to Brooke by default.

Taylor can not be shy at this point in the plot. She has to tell Ridge they should reconcile and take it from there. If not, Taylor will forfeit her best opportunity to reunite with Ridge in many years.
