Clyde wants Leo to pay and may not be able to stop himself from getting revenge. After all, Clyde often acts before he thinks and this could get him in a lot of trouble if he seeks revenge. Will Clyde consider Nancy’s feelings or act before he thinks?

Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is Clyde’s voice of reason. After all, Ben had talked his father down several times. Ben Weston was not the best candidate to be anyone’s conscience but it works for Clyde. Clyde also adores his grandson who he hasn’t seen in weeks.

Clyde doesn’t want to get caught up in all the drama that will surely get him to put away again. However, Clyde may also want to make sure that Leo plays for what he has done to Nancy as well. After all, Leo broke up with Nancy’s marriage. Clyde may be doubly convinced that Leo needs to pay. Will Clyde go after Leo for Nancy as well?

Clyde doesn’t want to be kept out of his grandson’s life and cannot return to prison. Will Clyde get his act together and stop himself before it’s too late? Will Clyde eventually get to see his grandson return home? Will Clyde lose Nancy even though he is fighting for her honor as well?

Is Clyde Weston Leaving Town?

Of course, going after Leo could be an exit strategy if James Read leaves or is written off the show. Clyde could go to prison for a while. Clyde could leave town with Nancy and travel to New York or somewhere. Clyde and Nancy could get the approval to visit Ben at some faraway port.

Clyde would have to get the ok from prison officials to leave town or even transfer his parole. Of course, Clyde could be released from parole as well. Clyde could also leave town with Orpheus and put his freedom on the line again.
